Hey everyone!! I just wanted to say thank you so much for 17k+ notes. This is the farthest my art has ever reached, and out of all my pieces, I’m so glad it could have been this one. It’s been so so so nice to read the tags and find it connecting with so many other people, and it’s been so so so nice to see other trans Chinese people finding the comic? It’s so comforting to see other people having similar experiences to mine and it’s just such a good feeling to know we’re not alone in this :) So thank you all!!!!

100 is kind of a lot for "quantity of Koroks who tried to go camping but coincidentally all got too tired to move", so here's my personal headcanon:
There is one (1) Korok who actually tried to join his friends in camping and see post-Upheaval Hyrule, but got too tired to move and needed to be rescued by Mr. Hero.
And as soon as you rescued him, he told everyone in Korok Forest about how the cool, brave, awesome Mr. Hero personally hand-carried him to his friend.
So now every time a set of camping Koroks spots Mr. Hero in the distance, they get really excited and rock-paper-scissors over who gets to race ahead and flop in front of the hero like a puppy who doesn't want to leave the dog park, claiming they can't move and need to be carried.
Unfortunately for them, I ignore them all.

Oshinama Island actually isn’t far from Kyoshi Island and the two get along well except that the Kyoshi Warriors and the Oshinama Fighters fucking loathe each other. Suki and Katara are hanging out one day when Suki sees the leader of the Oshinama Fighters out shopping and she’s like “Sorry one second” and draws her sword
Katara: *holding her back* Suki, no! You can't just go around slashing people!
Suki: But it's for the honor!
Zuko, in the background: Let her go, Katara!
The Oshinami Fighters are actually related to the Air Nomads and were founded by Avatar Yangchen. Naturally, there is a schism among the Gaang as a result.
"why do we even have that lever" is made funnier by the fact there are only 2 levers to begin with (disguised as a pair of tusks on a statue)
i find the implications hilarious:
- kronk only had to remember the location of one lever, and couldn't even manage that
- but on the other hand, it's easy to get two identical unlabelled levers confused, this one's on yzma tbh
- yzma only needed to make one lever to begin with, but she actively chose to turn the second tusk into a functioning trapdoor. she could have just...just not connected the second tusk to anything. it didn't need to have a function
- upon reflection, this also answers the question itself: "why do we even HAVE that lever?" it's because yzma herself specifically designed it as a booby trap. "why do we have that lever?" because yzma had it built to keep people out of her secret lair! yzma made the very purposeful choice to put that lever there! and then both she and her inept henchman immediately forgot about her own booby trap! yzma that is YOUR LEVER!!!!!
why do we even have that lever? because you built it yzma. these are the machinations of your own design yzma! YOU ARE TANGLED IN A WEB OF YOUR OWN WEAVING YZMA! YZMA THAT IS YOUR CROCODILE!!!
